SMS / Text Messaging Terms

Journey is a client-communication platform operated by Secord Fintech Inc. ("we," "our," or "us") for tax and accounting firms. These terms govern the SMS / text-messaging program available to clients of firms that use Journey.

1. About This Program

When you opt in through your firm's client portal, you agree to receive text messages from your tax firm ("your Firm"), sent through Journey on the Firm's behalf, related to your account and tax engagement. Journey / Secord Fintech Inc. is the messaging platform and the registrant of the number these messages are sent from.

2. Messages You'll Receive

Service and transactional notifications only — tax return status updates, document and information requests, appointment and deadline reminders, and account notifications. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages through this program.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your account activity and your Firm's communications.

4. Cost

Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan.

5. How to Opt Out

Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe at any time. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts. You can also manage your text-message preference in your client portal settings.

6. Help

Reply HELP to any message for help, contact your Firm directly, or email support@journey.tax.

7. Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. Privacy

We handle your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy (journey.tax/legal/privacy). We do not sell or share your mobile opt-in information or phone number with any third parties for their own marketing purposes. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or service.

9. Changes and Contact
