  • SMS / Text Messaging Terms

Governs the text-messaging program available to clients of firms that use Journey.tax: message types (service/transactional only), frequency, message-and-data rates, and how to opt out (reply STOP) or get help (reply HELP). Journey.tax / Secord Fintech Inc. is the platform and number registrant, sending on the firm's behalf.

Privacy, Security, and Data Handling

Journey.tax does not sell personal information and shares data only with subprocessors that help operate the Service and with legal authorities where required by law. Journey.tax does not use client data submitted by firms for its own purposes and does not use it to train third-party AI models.

Journey.tax maintains an information security program with administrative, technical, and physical safeguards consistent with the FTC Safeguards Rule and IRS Publication 4557, including encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, multi-factor authentication for administrative access, time-limited signed URLs for document access, logging, and monitoring.

Journey.tax's DPA lists subprocessors used to provide the Service, including Supabase for cloud hosting and database services in the United States.
